| Teaching a "Soccer Lifestyle" Parents are also concerned about the development of their children's soccer ability. They are willing to make great sacrifices in committing to their children's development...... but there is a difference. Coaches and players are focused on getting results on the field, while parents are looking to see their kids learn the virtues of sport that will help them grow into good young men and women. Here at CSA, our staff believes firmly that our role as educators includes both of these considerations equally. Your child will receive top notch training from experienced soccer people, leading them to learn how to win on the soccer field. They will also receive sincere, honest and consistent lessons about hard work, discipline, truth-fullness, nutrition and hydration, self-reliance, responsabilitiy for one's own actions, and how to not be afraid of failure. We believe in the grander scheme of things, if your child learns the skills of soccer but not the attitude to go with it, we have failed to teach them how to be winners in life. CSA believes that it is so important to reinforce these lessons that children learn at home, and transform them into a real life exercise that our staff takes great care to prepare ourselves before each event. What your child will not get is long winded lectures, (that is your department), but they will get a healthy dose of engineered activities and lessons that lead to "Teaching Moments" where the instructors can pass on the best information they have about soccer, and how to live a great "Soccer Lifestyle". A proper skills training method creates artistic, inventive, and insightful players. Hard work and honesty create their own "Great Moments" in life. These are the two primary roles CSA staff members will strive to fullfill in your child's experience at our events. |
