

Coaching Director Cory Rodgers Coach Rodgers starts his 18th year of coaching. He has taught children and adults of all levels with his special brand of technique training. For the last 7 years he has conducted private training sessions, small group clinics, team camps, and club and school training events all over the northeast Indiana area. Coach Rodgers played two years of college soccer at IPFW, and six years of semi-pro soccer in Dayton and Milwaukee. He has coached at the Rec, Select, Travel Club, Middle School and High School level, and currently holds a USSF "D" professional coaching license. He is currently the head coach of Citadel FC 93 Boys, Ft Wayne Sports Club U23, and the Director of the FWUSA Academy program. Kevin has worked incredibly hard on his coaching technique in the past two years, and recently earned his first USSF coaching License. Besides Coach Rodgers, the CSA staff also includes: Coach Kevin Lewis Coach Lewis brings a wealth of experience and energy to our clinics and camps. From his time with the US Youth National team training pool to his current posting as Citadel FC staff coach and Assistant Head coach as South Side High School, Kevin possesses a rare and valuable outlook on the game. Having put so much time and hard work into his own development as a player and coach, he makes an excellent role model and teacher for kids. Additionally, Dusan recently earned his first USSF license. Coach Dusan Friga This New Jersey native was transplanted from the garden state to Ft Wayne by way of St Francis University. Besides being a fantastically skilled player, Dusan learned his coaching trade by helping his father, a Slovakian immigrant who played and coached in Europe before arriving in the US. Dusan shares his unique insights, his youthful energy, and his superb teaching skills in our camps and clinics all over the northern Indiana area. Keeper Coach Chris Evard Raised right here in Ft Wayne Indiana, Chris has been a fixture around soccer fields from a young age - helping his dad coach young kids in the St Joe Soccer Leauge as early as age 14. Chris is one of the best young Keeper coaches in the area, and is employed by Citadel FC as an assistant coach. His easy report with young kids, and his ability to share his knowledge and experience with goalkeepers of all ages makes Chris a valuable part of our team. Chris holds his USSF "E" coaching License. Keeper Coach Shannon Lynn Shannon was the starting goalkeeper for three years on the IPFW women's soccer team. Her eye catching performances and standout character made her an easy choice for hire! This Canadian import (Brampton, Ontario), also serves as assistant coach for the IPFW women's program since finishing her career there, but still plays competitively for the Ft Wayne Fever women's semi pro team. She is a fantastic teacher, a knowledgeable and experienced player, and best of all, a great role model! Coach Rui Miranda Former professional player for Benfica Soccer Club in Portugal, coach Miranda has traveled far and wide. He brings a broad range of experience and knowledge to our staff. He is the newly named head coach of the Taylor University Women's Soccer team in Upland, Indiana, as well as the boys head coach at Lakeside Middle School in Ft Wayne. He currently holds a USSF "C" professional coaching license. Coach Jeff Clark Coach Clark, better known as "Jefe" by the kids, is the newly named head coach of the Northrop High School boys soccer team after spending the last three years as assistant head coach. Coach Clark played collegiately at Anderson University for a year before transferring and playing for St Francis University here in Ft Wayne. He also coaches at Jefferson Middle School where he piloted the boys soccer team to the school's first Summit Athletic Conference championship last year and now it's second in a row here in the spring of 2005. Coach Clark can be seen at many of the clinic events where he lends his unique blend of humor and hard work to build great relationships with aspiring young soccer stars. Coach Drew Jines Drew has accomplished much in a short time. Since graduating from Columbia City High School in 2003, he has earned Honorable Mention - All American as a freshman at Taylor University - FW, spent a month with the venerated West Michigan Edge PDL team, and enjoyed his first two seasons as a coach at Indian Springs Middle School. He brings the boundless energy and enthusiasm of youth, as well as a great deal of teaching ability to our staff Besides these highlighted staff members, CSA is proud to say that we employ some of the best young men and women from the area high school, college, and amateur ranks. Nothing warms our staff's heart more than to see the special bonds that camp and clinic attendees form with these excellent young people that we have assembled to bring to you the best training experience in the northern Indiana area. |
